Interior progress is moving along on the UBC Life Science Building Seismic Upgrade. We're going to be moving on to exterior work on the entry plaza soon, but for in the meantime we're finishing up installation of concrete seismic drag struts along the interior to transfer loads to the new seismic beams previously installed.
Depending on the location, and accessibility, some drag struts have been case in place and poured and some applied via shotcrete. Check out some photos below:
