About LRutt Contracting - The History & The Team

HISTORY

LRutt Contracting was formed in 2004 by Lorne Rutt. Prior to this, Lorne built up extensive experience working in the Geotechnical Drilling industry gaining technical knowledge on projects all over the world. After working in the drilling industry for 27 years, Lorne shifted his focus to the relatively new and innovative field of Shotcrete construction in Canada and LRutt Contracting was created.

LRutt Contracting began working on large seismic upgrade projects, and progressed over time to take on more complex hydro and mining jobs. Over the past ten years, the company has built up the experience and equipment base required to do both wet and dry shotcrete work as well as drilling and grouting work which are bolstered by Lorne's comprehensive experience in the field.



PRESENT

To date, LRutt Contracting has taken on a wide range of projects from meticulous seismic upgrades to mining, grouting and hydro dam projects. The experienced LRutt crew welcome the exceptional and challenging projects that are the norm for this shotcrete industry leader. No project is too big or too small for the LRutt team.
